Area of interest:

My research, and my interests, focus on metagenomics, genetics and bioinformatics. During my academic education, I became involved in the characterization of the human oral microbiome, using nanopore sequencing technology (Oxford Nanopore Technologies) and, subsequently, the analysis of genomic data and the identification of polygenic diseases through studies of genomic association, with computational approaches.

At IRGB-CNR, as a team member of the SEMICYCLE PROJECT, will study the role of diet, vaginal and gut microbiome in influencing on cardiometabolic functions in women during reproductive age.
