(AGE-it)

Aging well in an ageing society

AGE-IT is a network of Universities, research institutions and companies that brings together skills for the development of 10 different areas. A total of 27 subjects participate in the Age-it Extended Partnership.

The partnership includes the University of Florence, the University of Milan Bicocca, the University of Eastern Piedmont “Amedeo Avogadro”, the University of Padua, the Ca’Foscari University of Venice, the University of Bologna, the University of Rome “La Sapienza”, the University of Naples Federico II , University of Molise, “Aldo Moro” University of Bari, University of Calabria, “Luigi Bocconi” University, Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, Vita-Salute San Raffaele University), as well as the National Research Council, International School for Advanced Studies (SISSA), National Institute of Statistics (ISTAT), National Social Security Institute (INPS), National Institute of Hospitalization and Care for the Elderly (INRCA) Tech4Care, Generali Italia, HealthWare Group, Beta 80 S.p.a. Software and Systems, Municipia Spa, Confcooperative, Sanofi.

The project’s mission is to make Italy the leading scientific pole in research and on aging through the study and development of socio-economic, biomedical and technological solutions.

Funding sources:

This project is funded by Next Generation EU, in the context of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, Investment PE8 – Project Age-It: “Ageing Well in an Ageing Society” [DM 1557 11.10.2022].

Research Team:

The research unit at CNR-IRGB is formed by the coordinator Serena Sanna, researchers Fabio Busonero, Francesca Crobu, Andrea Maschio, and other researchers who will be recruited specifically for the project.
